Option A: This rate is the lowest rate and is the best designed for children averaging 37 hours or more per week at the center. Parents agree to pay for a minimum of 37 hours a week plus any hours in excess of 37 at the rate listed per hour under Option A. 70 hours of personal leave will be allowed for children that attend throughout the year. Personal leave renews itself in January and can be used for absences due to vacation, sickness, or temporary changes in the parents schedule.
Option B: This rate is designed for children averaging 27-36 hours or more per week at the center. Parents agree to pay for a minimum of 27 hours a week plus any hours in excess at the rate listed per hour under Option B. 50 hours of personal leave will be allowed for children that attend throughout the year. Personal leave renews itself in January and can be used for absences due to vacation, sickness, or temporary changes in the parents schedule.
Option C: This rate is designed for children averaging 20-27 hours or more per week at the center.
Option D: This rate is designed for children that will average less than 15 hours per week or attend only occasionally. There will be no minimum weekly charge.
* Notice: Drop in basis only. A call to the director will need to be made prior to children attending the center that day.
Late Pick-Up Fees: Kessel Kids is open Monday through Friday from 4:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. After the center closes, there will be a $10 per child charge for every 15 minutes that your child is at the center after that. This is in addition to the regular hourly charge.
Extended Leave of Absence: Parents may reserve their child's place in the schedule following an extended leave of absence due to having the summer off, maternity leave, or other absences three weeks to four months in length. A $100 non-refundable reservation deposit shall be made when the child leaves. $75 of this deposit will be used as prepaid child care and applied to your future bill upon the return of your child to Kessel. The remaining $25 will be kept by the center as a reservation fee.
Past Due Accounts: If payments are past due for more than 2 weeks of child care, the Director will inform the parents or guardian that their child cannot attend until the balance is paid in full or the parents have made payment arrangements with the director. We are a small center and receiving income for the child care we provide is vital for the center to exist and run efficiently. If there are extenuating circumstances and you are unable to pay your bill on time, please contact the director to make arrangements to set up a payment schedule. We also realize that some of you are paid from your jobs on a monthly or biweekly basis; please see the director for questions.
Billing at Kessel Kids is from Monday through Friday. Bills go out on Tuesday morning, along with daily attendance, and are located in the family pockets. Payment of childcare bill is expected on a weekly basis. Failure to pay your childcare bill for two consecutive weeks may result in termination of your contract with Kessel Kids. Please talk to the director if you have any questions. Please also sign the payment agreement and turn in with your packet.
Kessel Kids reserves the right to raise rates on an annual basis to accommodate continually rising costs. Sufficient notification will be posted.
